Poetic and evocative, with a deep, almost mystical connection to nature and the past. For me, creating is a basic need. It emerges without thought, driven by pure instinct. Ideas arrive unfiltered, and my mind shapes them before they even exist. I immerse myself in the material immediately. I touch it and begin to experiment: I stretch it, cut it, stitch it, glue it.
I work with found and organic materials alongside classical pictorial and graphic techniques, painting, drawing and mixed media, always searching for a way to bring these visions into being. This is how I understand the world. It is a kind of trance that isolates me and draws me into the soul of what I create.
My art seeks to reveal how vulnerable this world is. I want to save or revalue what has been discarded. I rebel by making art. I am inspired by irrational dynamics; I embrace the complexity of the universe and the technique that rises from the soul of the craft.
I add to this the vital energy, the awareness of what grows and moves us, the intimacy that transforms, the uncompromising gaze, the pure essence, the calligraphy of feeling, and the richness of textures and light. By transforming matter, my work attempts to reveal layers of meaning and connection.
